FAQ
Tile empty drum/shedding

Three main reasons: 1 substrate 2 tile hollow / shedding 3 personnel and method

1. The substrate has become diversified: insulation substrate, tile renovation, lightweight partition wall, gypsum board, wood board, steel plate, etc.;

2. Tiles:

1 In the past, the water absorption rate was >10%. Now the ceramic tiles such as vitrified tiles and microcrystalline stones have a water absorption rate of less than 0.5%; 2 large size and heavy weight;

3. The technical level of the construction personnel is reduced and the labor costs are increased.

Traditional bonding material

1. Low mark cement + yellow sand + 108 glue

2. On-site mixing ratio can not be hidden control, the material only depends on cement adhesion;

3. Does not retain water, thick layer construction;

4. Low construction efficiency, cost and labor;

5. The bonding effect of the vitrified brick with low water absorption rate is very poor, and it is easy to hollow/fall off;

6. Pure rigid material, can adapt to special substrates.

Therefore, the use of factory-made tile adhesive can overcome the problem of empty drums and shedding, and reduce the total cost of materials and improve construction efficiency.

Common tile bonding problems and analysis

1. 1 substrate is not strong, there are dust, pollutants, etc.; 2, if the new tile is attached to the old tile to ensure that there is no empty drum under the tile base; 3 use improper waterproof material, such as the use of elastic waterproof and rigid tile adhesive With the combination, it often appears to fall off.

2. There is a release agent on the back of the tile (to do the interface treatment or physical cleaning on the back of the tile);

3, The construction is too thick, not full of adhesive (the actual contact surface of the tile adhesive is not enough, virtual sticky);

4. Seamless construction method - ignore the natural properties of thermal expansion and contraction;

5. The tile glue is not evenly stirred, no electric stirring.
